Mother's Day

We had a nice Mother's Day last Sunday.   The plan was to go to Alyssa's two soccer games in the afternoon and then out to eat.  However, her games were canceled because we'd had rainy weather.  So, we didn't have anywhere to go until we met at Max & Erma's at 4:00.  It was fun hanging out at home with the kiddos.  Abby had just gotten a sewing machine (more on that later...) so she was a busy crafting bee.   Alyssa and I took a bike ride later in the evening to her friend Haley's neighborhood to see if she was outside playing (she wasn't, just as I had predicted).  We rode our bikes along the neighborhood path that takes you into a woodsy area that has a little creek.  It was so pretty.  I loved our bike ride and spending time with Alyssa.
