Something Loved: I'm going to go with the easy/ banal and say summer. I love summer vacation and being able to spend quality time with the girls who are on college summer break and high school break. Our temperatures haven't been too bad either, making the season more palatable from a comfort viewpoint. We've had no days even hit ninety degrees and just a handful hit over 85. No complaints! In addition, it seems like almost every time we really start to need rain, it rains (albeit sometimes accompanied with strong storms). I love the plants blooming from beautiful flowers to vegetable plants bearing (much anticipated) ripe vegetables. I love not being cold (though I do turn down the AC after Donnie leaves for work and try to remember to turn the temp back down before he arrives home. The temperature at which he feels comfortable in the house is too cold for me!).

... the Dragons came within three runs of the Ratlers

We actually came to the game to watch the Irish dancers. Alyssa's good friend's sister danced with her Irish dance troupe as part of the game's in between inning entertainment.

The dancers did a great job and were super fun to watch.

The girls and I decorated Barbie Dream Houses (read gingerbread houses with pink/ Valentine's Day sprinkles) at Heather's Gourmet Apples.

Our creations:

We live super close to a seasonal farmer's market called Lovely's. If we cut through our neighbor's (with whom we are friends...) back yard, we can walk to the market in less than five minutes. The market sells fruits, veggies, homemade baked goods and candy. We love living close enough to walk to this summer delight. We ❤️ Lovely's!

The calm (sort of) before the storm- we had a nice downpour of rain one evening. The sky was super bright and blue not long before it with these fluffy looking clouds. The clouds looked like a huge smoke plume. 

Something Read: I'm currently not reading a book which is unusual, nor have I read anything since I finished the last book that I read about five days ago which is very unusual. I recently finished reading an Agatha Christie book. It was the first one of hers that I've read. I can see why her books are popular and have stood the test of time.

Something Learned: We have a small collection of things that are collector's items and I've been reading all about them to sell them. It's a really, odd, niche collection and the items aren't worth a huge amount. But they are worth something and they're taking up room in the house so another reason to sell them (besides to make money) is to get them out of the house. 

Something Eaten- Sweets from Lovely's! (Alyssa wanted the chipotle chile dip packet, not me, lol). There was a slight price break per package if you bought three... so of course we did!
