Carly's 5th Birthday
The girls and I headed to Indiana bright and early on Saturday to attend Carly's 5th birthday party. We were in the car for almost as long as we were there, but it was worth it! The kids aren't gettin' any younger and I want to see my nieces more than once or twice a year if possible.
All of my siblings were at the party as well as the kids' great Aunt Katy and Aunt Betty. I loved seeing everyone and I think the girls liked it, too. Since we don't live close to anyone on my side of the family, I treasure the time that I and my kids get to spend with extended family.
Carly is such a sweet girl and may I add that my brother Joe and SIL Amy are incredible parents! They are role modeling the Christian traits that they want their girls to possess: a love for Christ, humility, kindness, gentleness and generosity. Three cheers and lots of love for the Mattox's!! So glad we were there to be a part of the celebration.
