Boro 'ball

Jacob and Alyssa's basketball seasons are somewhat winding down.  Jacob just has two more regular season games before the league tournament.  Alyssa has only two games scheduled, but her team will probably make up the game that they didn't play due to bad weather.  Both teams are improving.  Alyssa's team played the team that they played against in the first game.  In the first game, we lost.  In this game, we easily beat the team that had defeated us.  Jacob's team has been up and down but the best thing is that their shooting percentage as a team has increased the past few games.  They've also had some easy wins- always good for team morale!

I was able to get some pretty good pictures this past weekend.  For Alyssa's game, I stood along the sidelines to get better shots than I would have gotten in the bleachers.  In Jacob's game on Saturday, I was the person taking money from spectators as they entered the gym (yes, one must pay for the privilege of seeing your team possibly shooting 11%!).  The chair I was sitting in gave me a good vantage point for watching the game.

Dribbling...

I don't know for sure, because I don't know the two girls in the white jerseys facing the same way as Alyssa, but I'll betcha that the girl on the left is in first grade and the girl in the middle is in second grade.

Jacob is doing great as a point guard.

Don't those pesky opponents know they aren't wanted in my pictures?!

Jacob dribbles.  Donnie is the background.  He does the stats for the team which is how I know the team's shooting percentage.
