Fun Weekend

We had a really nice, busy but not too busy, first weekend of May.  On Friday evening, we went up to Englewood for Jacob's soccer game.  The game was a tie at  2-2.  Jacob played really well and scored a goal.  After the game we went to B-Dubs with a family from Jacob's team.  Jacob spent two of my dollars attempting to win an Ipad in an arcade game and was this close to winning one!  We didn't get home until 11:00 and then early Saturday morning it was rise and shine time for Kings Island :-).  We got to the park early and enjoyed having short lines for awhile.  Jacob and I rode the Diamondback- so fun!   We met up with a friend of Jacob's, Gabe, and Gabe's family.  Jacob spent the rest of the afternoon with them as part of Gabe's birthday.  Shortly after Jacob arrived home (later than us- we left when the lines started to get long), Jacob's friend Nick called and invited Jacob over for a sleepover.  Doesn't get any better than that for Jacob!  Alyssa went to a birthday party at GTCO Saturday evening and that concluded a busy day.  Sunday morning I got in a 10 mile run before church.  After church, Alyssa had a soccer game (that I couldn't go to because I had to take Abby to gymnastics).  Pizza for dinner Sunday evening was a great ending to a fun weekend!

With all those fun events, you'd think I would have taken more pictures.  Alas, this is all that I have.

It was starting to get dark by the end of the game.  We had a half hour delay midway through because of lightening.
