Showstopper Dance Competition

Abby competed in a dance competition called Showstopper in Columbus.  We went up Friday with Kristen and Giovanna and the girls performed their group routines Saturday morning.  The girls' group routines went well.  Their scores weren't the highest they could be, but they finished well in the individual categories.    They were done by early afternoon.  Abby and Giovanna's solo routines wouldn't be until Sunday morning.  We almost could have gone home and come back in the morning, but... the hotel had a pool and we were a two minute drive to the Easton Shopping center.  So the girls went swimming after their routines and then we cleaned up and went shopping.  The girls had a blast shopping and getting spoiled by their dance moms!  On Sunday, the girls did their solo routines.  Abby was disappointed that she didn't score higher but she did a great job.  She was placed in the highest competition division by her dance teacher.  She did get a trophy, which is unusual if one is not the high scorer in a given category, which Abby wasn't.
