Valentine's Day Party

While Jacob and Abby's classrooms are downplaying celebrating Valentine's Day ("we will be having an informal Valentine's Day party on Monday..." read a note from Abby's teacher and in Jacob's classroom, it was optional whether or not the kids exchanged Valentine's cards), at least the preschoolers still partied on V-tines Day. Actually, Alyssa's class had to celebrate on Friday since she doesn't go to school on Monday. Alyssa's class party was a lot of fun. Before that, Alyssa wrote almost all of the names of her classmates on their respective Valentine cards and signed her name on all of them. Wow, I hope they work on NOT MAKING EVERY LETTER REALLY LARGE in kindergarten when they print letters! Anyway, the kids did a couple of crafts, played Bingo, and ate a snack. Alyssa loved looking at all of the valentines she received when we arrived home.

All the kids loved Bingo complete with conversation hearts as the markers.
