Valentine Cookies

The kids and I made and decorated Valentine Day cookies on Sunday. It's something we do every year. The kids look forward to it, despite their somewhat peculiar likes and dislikes: Abby doesn't like frosting, but she likes to frost the cookies and Alyssa doesn't like to eat sprinkles but she likes adding sprinkles to the cookies. Jacob, my stalwart one, likes the whole process from making the cookies to the ultimate act of completion: eating the cookies. We ended up giving many cookies away to the grandparents since the girls won't eat the decorated cookies, yet wanted to decorate them all.
