Soccer Saturday

Alyssa's soccer team for the fall, FCJ Rappione, normally plays its games on Sundays.  One Saturday game was added to the last weekend of Alyssa's soccer season.  Her team played a team from the same soccer club, Cincinnati United Future Crew Juniors.  The team they played against was a U9 team, whereas Alyssa's team is a U7.  Donnie was a little bit worried since the girls on Alyssa's team were younger and would presumably be smaller than the older girls.  Alyssa's team is really good, though, and they prevailed 1 -0.  The game that they played the next day, their last, ended up being a tie.  That means that for the season, the girls either tied or won their games.  They didn't lose a single game.  Donnie was proud of  "his girls".  Likewise, the other girls on the team and their parents appreciated Donnie's coaching and communicating after each game.  Alyssa had a great season!!  All of the below pictures were taken during the Saturday game.  After the game, which was close to dinner time, we ate at nearby Pizzeria Uno's.  Yum!

Donnie directs the players to the field.  The girl in front of Alyssa wrote Donnie the cutest note thanking him for being the "best" coach she's ever had!
