Dance Recital

Abby's dance recital was on Friday evening.  Everything went fine... but not without a little (well, a lot) of stress.  On Thursday at the dress rehearsal, Abby completely messed up her solo.  She just forgot it and walked off the stage crying.  Little trooper that she is, her dance teachers convinced her to begin it again and she did and did it fine.  Her forgetting the routine was The Topic of conversation at the rehearsal.  I was worried that she would forget it at the recital.  I made her practice it several times on Friday, but without the props, it's hard to duplicate at home.   She ended up doing great at the recital, so my worry was for nothing, thank goodness.  All of the other routines went well so it was a very successful and entertaining recital!
