Bubby's got a phone....

After employing a variety of techniques including, but not limited to, begging; promising positive results in exchange for; making us feel guilty about (but everybody has one), we gave in a bought Jacob a cell phone.  His excitement over the phone is indescribable.  It's cute.  He hasn't been this excited about receiving a thing since he was about four years old.  I mean, this will only be topped by his getting a car at some point in the future.  We figure we can hold it over him (threaten to take it away from him) if he starts misbehaving and that will keep deviant acts and behavior from occurring.

The low down:
Type of phone: Samsung, slide screen (the one feature Jacob was adamant about having)
Text Messaging: Unlimited (natch!)
Internet access: Disabled on his phone (a no brainer- same for the camera feature!)

Yes, I took a picture with my phone of Jacob holding his phone to be my contact photo of him.  Why?  Because that's just how I am!
