Sorta sledding

We received some snow on Saturday- maybe one or two inches. It wasn't much, that's for sure but the ground was almost blanketed by it. Saturday was a busy day for us- Jacob had soccer and basketball then Donnie took the kids to his mom's so she could watch the kids for us while we had people over. So.... by the time the kids had a chance to go out in it, it was Sunday and there was even less white stuff on the ground. The girls didn't care; they went into a neighbor's backyard that has small hills. They "sledded" to the extent sledding means you're on your sled, not that you're careening on a snow filled ground! They had fun and happily were ready to come in after a short while for the reward of all outdoor play when there's any amount of snow on the ground (hot cocoa).
