Boro Basketball

Jacob's basketball team began its season this weekend with two big wins. They played on Saturday and beat Waynesville 22-10. Jacob only scored 4 points and had quite a low shooting percentage, but he made it to the hoop which is important and played great defense. He felt great about the game after it despite not shooting great. He was happy to be playing and winning. Today his team won 44-5 against Monroe. Jacob got the ball rolling, so to speak, in the first few seconds of the game. Monroe won the tip off, but Jacob promptly stole the ball from the guy with it and took it down to the hoop to score within the first 15 seconds of the game. He ended up with 11 points. Not a bad way to begin the season...
