4th of July

You know it's the Fourth of July when...

...your mom paints your hand black...

...then uses your black painted hand to make an eagle's body on a t- shirt...


...and paints your fingers white to make the eagle's legs...

...and makes you wear said shirt along with cousins and smile for pictures (aren't they cute!!!)

...fun abounds





...the kids are clustered around an adult who is dispensing something besides candy (thanks Jamie)...

... the street is dirty, the smell is smoky, and the air pops with loud noises...

...sparklers light the night sky...

...and friends celebrate together!
