Walk to the K

One of the kindergartner's most anticipated events occurred on Tuesday- walking from Clearcreek to the K & S ice cream shop (heretofore, the K). The kindergartners walked with a partner the whole two blocks. Parents were (strongly) encouraged to attend because although the walk was a short one, the street that both the K and Clearcreek is on is a busy one. Alyssa was a good girl and let me push her in the stroller on the way to the K.

Abby's partner was her friend Jenna. Their size difference cracks me up. Jenna is the oldest girl in the class- she turned seven in March. Abby is the next oldest girl- she'll turn seven in October.

Because of the extraordinary long line at the window, Alyssa and I didn't end up getting anything. Like the good sister that she is, Abby was willing to share with her little sister.
