New Jeep Wheels
It was just last week that we took Alyssa's Jeep out from the shed. The wheels were not in perfect shape, but were drivable. In about a four day span, it became apparent that we needed new wheels for the Jeep. The old ones became so bad that the Jeep bounced instead of smoothly hugged the road. Good ol' daddy found a website to order replacement wheels. I made the mistake of opening the box when it came and showing the new wheels to Alyssa and James before Donnie had a chance to put them on. The kids started playing with the wheels and announced that would help Donnie put the wheels on. Below are pictures that depict the hilarity that ensued when Donnie came home from work. By this time, Jacob (lil' Jacob, not big Jacob) was on the scene and eager to help and even Baby Jack came to lend his support (and try to eat Jeep parts).
Step 1 - Arm a two year old with a rubber mallet to help get the old wheel off.

Step 2- Confer with an older member of the team while the two and three year olds try to figure things out.

At least these grease monkey wanna bes are not showing crack!

That's my girl- Alyssa smiles coyly while holding a hammer (the red on her arm is red marker- nothing disturbing as it sort of looks like).

The three stooges

... and Bubby a ride.
C'ya later!

There's no depiction of a step here. I was just pleased that Jacob posed for me!
Donnie could not say that he didn't have a lot of help!

The three stooges
Poor Jacob- Alyssa has the hammer and James has the mallet. Where's his tool of potential mass destruction?
They keep on truckin' (or Jeepin').
When they were all finished, Alyssa gave her daddy a big hug...
