Soccer Tournament Victory!

Jacob's soccer team won its first tournament on Saturday.   It was the Kolping Seth Stevenson Memorial tournament.  They won in that they made it to the final game which was subsequently canceled due to bad weather which was then determined by a coin toss.  So, technically, they won the coin toss, but it sounds much better to say they won the tournament.  Had they played the final game, it likely would have been a good one.  The two teams had met on Saturday and the result was a 1-1 tie.   It would have cool to see who won in their second game. 


There's nothing like a  little kettle corn to sweeten the deal of spending an afternoon at the soccer field
