Abby and I headed to Toledo early Friday afternoon so that she and her dance team could compete at a dance competition called CoDance in the late afternoon. We rode up with Kristen and her daughter Giovanna and Lori and her daughter Isabel. Kristen's minivan was bursting at the seams! I'm grateful Kristen volunteered to drive as the weather was not ideal- it rained the whole time on our way there and back. The girls did great at the competition. They received a "Gold" award on all three of their dances. The highest they could have received was platinum, but Abby's dance teacher said that gold was really good for this competition. We spent the night Friday and then Saturday the girls attended classes with professional dancers. The girls had a lot of fun. Highlights for Abby included riding in the back of the minivan with her buddies and stopping to eat (& shop) at Cracker Barrel.
