The last day of school
Last Friday was Jacob and Abby's last day of school. Jacob had been looking forward to this day since August, while Abby claimed she did not want school to end. One thing is for sure, the day provided lots of picture taking opportunities.

Jacob would not smile for me as departed the bus on the last day of school. When I pressed him later for a reason why he wouldn't smile, he said it was because he thought he would miss second grade. While I appreciate his sentimental nature, he needs to learn to suck it up and smile anyway when I ask him to!
